HypnoBirthing® Infant Massage

Keeping your baby calm and peaceful through touch

You know that you love a good massage…so does your baby.

Infant Massage

  • Teaches parents massage strokes to calm & soothe your baby
You will learn specific routines for relaxation as well as for getting your baby to sleep and to help relieve colic and congestion.

  • Empowers you as a parent to trust yourself when interacting with your baby
Babies don’t come with manuals that explain what each type of cry means or which position your baby likes to be in and when. It sometimes takes time to gain that confidence to know your baby needs and wants and to trust that you are doing it right.

  • Enhances your relationship with your baby
You probably visualized many times during your pregnancy about what life would be like with your new baby. Sometimes that vision becomes reality and sometimes not. For some parents the love affair begins immediately after birth. But other parents feel lost or distant from their babies and it takes a little longer for that bond to become as strong as they had envisioned.

This class will enhance the perfect relationship and it will help the troubled relationship to become peaceful and relaxed.

  • Improves communication with your baby
You and your baby communicate with all senses…smell, sight, taste, hearing, and especially touch.

Babies need touch to survive, they need it to thrive. Study after study has proven that. Instinctively you knew that…the first thing you wanted to do after your baby was born was to touch it’s head, hands, cheeks, toes… Learn to use that need for touch to respond to your baby’s needs.

You had to learn to relax while you were pregnant so that you could give birth in the most natural way that you could imagine and you can learn to use touch to connect to your baby in the same natural easy way.

But what if I didn't use HypnoBirthing® to give birth?

HypnoBirthing® teaches parents how to relax and have a gentle, peaceful birth the way that nature intended. HypnoBirthing® Infant Massage classes take that relaxation a step further, by teaching parents effective ways to massage and touch their babies that promote calm and gentle little people.

Even if you weren't a HypnoBirthing® parent, you can still take these classes and you will probably even have greater benefits. These classes will teach you to relax when interacting with your baby, and how to relax in general. Yes, you learn specific massage strokes, but you will also come away with a newfound sense of empowerment and a new level of trust in your own natural ability to communicate with you baby.

What about the specifics?

This is a series of 5 classes. Each class is about an hour long, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on how the babies’ are doing. Babies can bring 2 adults with them to group classes and as many as they want for private.

Please call for class dates or to schedule your individual sessions.
